Liverpool vs Manchester United 2-0

J suddenly say: "Gerrard!" but it was only the mannequin -_-"

We had no idea how to walk to Anfield but i guess we don't have a problem at all.. It was still early but already there were streams of fans heading towards Anfield. Every cars and cabs that passes by were filled with Reds Supporters..You never have to walk alone

What am i doing?? I guess its the excitement getting to me...

We didn’t manage to get tickets online but we were hoping that there would be miracle and we might get it from outside the stadium. The feeling is horrible when the match is about to start and you hear roaring in the stadium and streams of people are entering the stadium but you are left without a ticket to enter. A match like this one…even money can’t buy you tickets..so we went to the Official Liverpool Pub just opposite the stadium to catch the match.

The atmosphere was brilliant in the pub. Liverpool fans are truely the best supporters in the world. You can really feel the passion the locals have for the clubs and i witness how the chants were pass on from the old generation to the young. It is a family affair where nephews, uncles, granddads, fathers, wives and girlfriends watch the match together in the pubs. An old veteran wearing “i’d rather get swine flu then support man u” t-shirt was standing right behind J and was chanting and chanting thru the match and occasionally pulling/playing with my beanie hat. J was telling me that he felt his hair is full of his saliva hahaa…

During half time, we went out of the pub for a breather.

J suddenly went: “Eh, Gerrard~!”

I was like “Ya, Right~! Please lor, why would  he be outside the stadium?”

J said: “REALLY! GERRARD! Behind you!!!”

I turned and saw some people chasing after someone and i overheard “Gerrard!” So i followed after the few people chasing and thats when my hat flown off and i was thinking should i run after or pick up my hat on the road? I went with the crowd…i was right in front of him facing him as he wasn’t running but just walking briskly but you can see he is limping a bit at the same time. I fumbled with my video capture mode and failed to capture his profile. I only manage to take him from the side view and when i asked J if he took a video? He said: ” i helped you pick up your hat lah…then i was enjoying watching you run beside Gerrard …and seeing the real person i was also dumbstruck …where got time take video!”

We are really quite lucky…what a chance to see him walking casually outside the stadium up close? Anyway, heres the video

Now, back to the match

GOAL~~~~~~~! 1-0

His armband proved he was a red,
Torres Torres,
you’ll never walk alone it said,
Torres Torres,
we bought the lad from sunny Spain,
he gets the ball, he scores again,
Fernando Torres, Liverpool number 9,
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na….

GOAL~~!!! 2-0

watch J shake his head in disbelief

Crowds rushing out after the match

You can never get lost..the radio station tower is a prominent landmark in Liverpool

I miss playing the game on Xbox

Albert Docks

We went back to Anfield the next day for the Stadium Tour

Holding up my bro's scarf and posing with Bill Shankly. My bro should receive his goodies very soon

The KOP

The guide was telling us to be very careful with this hairdryer if not Torres would not be pleased..haha By the way, he was the last player to leave the stadium after the match..think he needs time to blow dry his hair nicely

I took a sniffed when no one is watching hehe

See the red door behind me? There is actually two red doors...one is for the players and the other room is Rafa's personal bathroom. Sometime, he use it to talk to the players in private.

Coming out from the player’s tunnel…the guide jokes that Peter Crouch is the only player that is able to kiss the crest cause of his height

Litter left from yesterday's match

J sat on the seat which Sir Alex Ferguson was sitting that day!

I am sitting where Rafa was during the match.

The sun was about to set when we were walking back to the city centre to catch a Train to Blackpool. We took one last look of the beautiful hilltop view of Liverpool at Everton park. I am sure this won’t be the last time..We will be back next year hopefully and we will probably stay in Liverpool much longer and definitely catch a match in Anfield!

Luv, Yee
